Jensen & Co and Primar have entered into a sales partnership

With this, Jensen & Co is strengthening its focus on ready meals. Jensen & Co already represents Åmli on this shelf as a strategic sales partner, where we perform a wide range of services. Here, in collaboration with the supplier, we have created a sales success by developing and offering new, good, relevant products in the Åmli portfolio. Together, we had a growth of 14.5% last year within this product group.

Sissel Opshaug, owner and general manager of the family business Primar, says that over time she has been looking for possible solutions for store follow-up, and together with Jensen & Co we have found a good solution that takes care of Primar in store.

The Folldal company Primar launched in September a series of single portions within fresh ready-to-eat food, consisting of four products, all of which have been listed in Coop. Sissel Opshaug says this is an important venture for Primar, and a natural development from the success Ekte Bacalao 1kg, which has been on the market for 23 years. The key to success, Opshaug believes, is that the products taste like homemade, which has also been the leading star in the development of the new ready meals. Local anchoring and the use of good Norwegian raw materials have also been central to this new launch.
